The Hush Language Mental Health Journal for Youth is an interactive arts-based journal with eighteen lessons on depression, anxiety, past trauma, and self-esteem. This journal is printed in FULL color with specific art designs throughout each lesson and packed with helpful resources for teens to find support in their communities.
The Hush Language Initiative was birthed out of my desire to heal from past trauma and abuse while creating a platform for youth to explore their healing through creative arts, writing, and self-understanding.
The Hush Language Initiative is a platform of poetry and creative writing helping to heal old wounds, peroxide them clean, and suture them back to wholeness.
The desire with this journal is to incorporate the arts and journaling for youth to transform their lives and community.
The Hush Language Initiative proposes to expose more voices in our communities to find direction in healing through writing in areas of trauma dealing with sexual abuse, teen suicide, bullying, and self-worth.
